How to launch your website
To launch your website, please login to your Website Builder account
In your Website Builder, click on the Publish Site button.
Complete the Publish Site wizard.
Step 1: Enter your Domain name in the provided field. Re-enter the domain in the second box by typing (copy-pasting does not work for this field)
Step 2: Click on the two changes that need to be done on your domain registrar account. Information will be provided for you to connect your third-party domain to your new website: Website Builder - Configuring your domain and publishing your website
This step will involve your Domain Provider updating your DNS Settings to ensure that when a guest enters your domain into a web browser, your new website will be displayed.
To assist you with this step, a pop-up window will display both the "A" and "CNAME" records which are required for successful go-live, along with what the record is displaying on the DNS provider side.
If the records are correct , the pop-up window will say no action is required , and the site should go live soon.
If the records are incorrect , it will show you which record is incorrect, what the record is (or record not found if there is none), and give an action to change it.
Once the incorrect record changed, please press a Refresh button, which trigger another system search to check the records, and if correct will change to reflect this.
The pop up window l will disappear if the domain is live.
This step may take up to 72 hours to complete depending on your domain provider.
Note: The DNS settings are for your web hosting only. Please ensure you do not make any changes to your email hosting settings. Making changes to your email host settings will prevent you from receiving any emails.
