Create a promotional rate for your booking engine. Create special offers such as a non-refundable rate, a direct-only rate, or any other discounted offers. If you want to apply a discount across all your room rates at once, you can do this using a rate multiplier instead.
Create a promotional rate for your booking engine
To create a promotional rate for your booking engine:
Go to Front Desk > Setup > Rooms and Rates.
Find the room type and click Add Room rate.
Name the rate (for example, "Special Rate" or "Non-refundable").
Leave Manage this rate independently unchecked so it is based on the standard rate.
In Rate type, select Percentage.
In Difference, enter a negative value (for example, -10 for a 10% discount).
Click Create.
Go to My Apps > Direct Booking > Setup > Rooms and Rates.
Find the room type and click Add Room rate. Leave the Rate Plan field set to "No rate plan."
Go to My Apps > Channel Manager > Channels, locate and click Direct Booking, then click Configure.
Select Unmapped and find the newly created room rate.
Click Map to Direct Booking to complete the mapping.
