Website Builder - Edit your property information in the dashboard

Add or edit Property Details

Under Property Details, you can add information about your hotel such as contact details, property location and pinpoint the hotel's location on the map displaying to your website's visitors. Add as much property information to your website as possible to make sure that your guests can find you.

To update your property details:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Dashboard

  2. In the menu on the left, select Property details

  3. Enter your property details as needed

  4. Click Save

  5. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  6. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website

You will see the updated hotel information on the Contact Us section of your homepage, and on the Contact Us page.

When updating your property details, please be aware of the following:

Email
The email address is required in order for you to receive any customer enquiries sent through the Contact Us page. If you do not wish to display your email address on your website, simply untick the box Show my property 's e-mail address on my website

Rating
Select your star rating from the star picker. Please tick the Star Rated box if you are officially star-rated - when this box is ticked, stars will appear on your website, if unticked, circles will appear instead.

Address
The map will auto-adjust the pin to the address that is filled when you search for an address. If you wish to change the address from the pre-filled one set by Google Maps, you can alter each individual category so that it more accurately reflects your property’s address.


Add room types and customise the Rooms page

Add room types to your website to showcase what each room can offer to your guests. You can also customise which room types display on your website's Rooms page and in which order they display.

To add room types:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Dashboard

  2. In the menu on the left, select Room Types

  3. Click Add new Room Type

  4. Click on the Add Photo tile to add photos from your pool of photos

  5. Click Save

  6. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  7. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website

When adding/editing a room type, please be aware of the following:

Description
If you copy and paste your descriptions from Microsoft Word, the text will have additional formatting that cannot be removed and the text will display incorrectly. Should you wish to write up your descriptions and copy/paste them from another source, we recommend that you use a plain text editor such as Notepad.

To customise the Rooms page:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Website Pages

  2. In the menu on the left, select Rooms

  3. Under Room type selection , click Add room type to add a room type to display. If the popup window is empty, this means all your room types are already displaying on the website

  4. To delete a room type from the Rooms page, hover over a room type box and click on the waste bin icon

  5. To change the order of display, simply drag and drop the room type boxes into the order you want

  6. Click Save

  7. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  8. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website

Add amenities

You can set up and manage all of your room types' amenities from one place. There are around 70 amenities provided, and conveniently translated to the languages supported by the Website Builder. You can also create custom amenities , if an amenity you want to advertise is not among the provided amenities.

To add amenities for a room type:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Dashboard

  2. In the menu on the left, select Amenities. You will be taken to Select amenities by room type tab by default

  3. Under Select room type , select the room type you wish to add amenities for from the drop down menu

  4. Tick the amenities applicable to the room type. The website builder will auto-save the changes

  5. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  6. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website

All selected amenities will now be displayed on our website.

To add custom amenities:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Dashboard

  2. In the menu on the left, select Amenities

  3. You will be taken to Select amenities by room type tab by default. Please go to Create a custom amenity

  4. Click Add a new amenity

  5. In the blank field provided, enter the new amenity

  6. Click Save

  7. If your website supports other languages:
    Enter custom translation for the amenity by selecting the language you wish to translate to on top, entering the translation and clicking Save

  8. Go back to Select amenities by room type to apply this amenity to a room type and follow the steps outlined above

Please note: Custom amenities are not translated by the website builder. Any new amenity will need to be added to the Website Builder in English first. You will then need to provide the translations for any further languages supported by your property yourself.


Add promotions and customise the Promotions page

Add promotions to your website to showcase any deals you are offering to your guests.

To add promotions:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Dashboard

  2. In the menu on the left, select Promotions

  3. Click Add a new Promotion

  4. Add the Promotion information , e.g. Name and Description

  5. Click on the Add Photo tile to add photos from your pool of photos

  6. Click Save

  7. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  8. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website

The new promotion will automatically display on the Promotions page. If you do not want to display it, you can customise the Promotions page. You can also customise in which order your promotions display on your website 's Promotions page.

To customise the Promotions page:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Website Pages

  2. In the menu on the left, select Promotions

  3. Under Promotion selection, click Add promotion to add a promotion to display. If the popup window is empty, this means all your promotions are already displaying on the website

  4. To delete a promotion from the Promotion page, hover over a promotion box and click on the waste bin icon

  5. To change the order of display, simply drag and drop the promotion boxes into the order you want

  6. Click Save

  7. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  8. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website


Add awards and customise the Awards banner

On your website, you can add up to four awards your property has won. Displaying your industry awards helps to build trust and credibility with potential guests.

To add awards:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Dashboard

  2. In the menu on the left, select Awards

  3. Click Add a new award

  4. Add the Award information , e.g. Name and Award URL

  5. Click on the Add Photo tile to add photos from your pool of photos

  6. Click Save

  7. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  8. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website

Your new award will automatically display on your website's homepage under Awards.
If you do not want to display an award you can customise the Awards banner on your homepage. You can also customise in which order your awards display on your homepage. The Awards banner will not display on your homepage if there are no awards set up to display.

To customise the Awards banner:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Website Pages

  2. In the menu on the left, select Home

  3. Scroll down to locate the Awards banner section

  4. Click Add award to add an award to display. If the popup window is empty, this means all your awards are already displaying on the website

  5. To delete an award from the Awards banner, hover over an award box and click on the waste bin icon

  6. To change the order of display, simply drag and drop the award boxes into the order you want

  7. Click Save

  8. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  9. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website

Add attractions and customise the Attractions page

Add local attractions to your website to show your guests places to visit while staying at your hotel.

To add an attraction:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Dashboard

  2. In the menu on the left, select Attractions

  3. Click Add a new attraction

  4. Add the Attraction information , e.g. Name , Address and Description

  5. Update the map if necessary. Drag and drop the pin on the map to the correct address as sometimes Google Maps cannot correctly resolve the property address on the map.

  6. Click on the Add Photo tile to add photos from your pool of photos

  7. Click Save

  8. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  9. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website

The new attraction will automatically display on the Attractions page. If you do not want to display it, you can customise the Attractions page. You can also customise in which order your attractions display on your website 's Attractions page.

To edit or delete an attraction:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Dashboard

  2. In the menu on the left, select Attractions

  3. Under Select Attraction, select the attraction you wish to edit/delete

  4. To edit the attraction, update the content under Attraction Information and click Save

  5. To delete the attraction, click Delete

  6. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  7. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website

To customise the Attractions page:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Website Pages

  2. In the menu on the left, select Attractions

  3. Under Attractions selection, click Add attraction to add a attraction to display. If the popup window is empty, this means all your attractions are already displaying on the website

  4. To delete an attraction from the Attractions page, hover over an attraction box and click on the waste bin icon

  5. To change the order of display, simply drag and drop the attraction boxes into the order you want

  6. Click Save

  7. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  8. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website


Add social media links to your website

Social media is an extremely valuable tool for promoting your property and a great way to connect with your guests.

To add social media links to your website:

  1. In your Website Builder, click Dashboard

  2. In the menu on the left, select Social media

  3. Click Add a new connection

  4. Add the Name (e.g. "Facebook) and the URL to your social media profile

  5. Select the social media type from the drop down menu to display the proper icon next to the link on your website

  6. Click Save

  7. Click Preview Site to view the changes you have made to the website

  8. If your website is already published, click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website

The social media links you set up in the Website Builder will appear in the footer of your website.
