Submitting the website to Google
Get your website indexed faster and improve your web page ranking by submitting your site to Google.
You will need to open your Website Builder, your google account and the Google Search Console: https://search.google.com/search-console/welcome
Note: You may receive an error message when verifying your website. Once your website is published wait at least 1 hour before attempting to verify your website noting that it could take 24 hours before Google receives the tag information from your website.
Obtain the HTML tag/token from Google
Login to your google account. If you do not have a Google account, sign up here
Go to Google Search Console: https://search.google.com/search-console/welcome
Click sign into search console
If it's your first time to verify a website, enter website URL (i.e., https://www.tropicalparadise.com) in the provided field and click ADD A PROPERTY. If you have any existing website in the console, just click ADD A PROPERTY, enter your website URL, then click Add
Click on the Alternate Methods tab
Tick the HTML tag radio-button - more information will be displayed below it
Copy the token from the meta tag
Note : Do not close the webmaster window.
Add the tag to your Website Builder
In another window, open your Website Builder
Click Advanced Setting
Click Google Indexing
Paste the token you copied earlier in the provided field
Click Save
Click Publish Changes to push the updates to your live website
Note : Wait for at least an hour for the changes to appear on your website before you proceed to the next step (verify your website).
Verify your website
Go back to the window where Google Webmaster is open
Click Verify at the bottom of the HTML tag section
Note : If you receive an error message, it could be that the tag has not been published or Google has not received the tag (the time for Google to receive the tag could take up to 1 day). Allow another hour before you click verify again. If problems persist, try again the next day before contacting support.

If you need to add a link to your sitemap through Google, please enter www.yourdomain.com /sitemap.xml (i.e., if your website URL is www.tropicalparadise.com enter www.tropicalparadise.com/sitemap.xml)
