Checkin is an app that connects with Little Hotelier as your PMS to automate check-ins, enhance guest experience, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Verify guests’ personal identification documents with biometric comparison software.
Customise registration forms and short rental contracts to be digitally signed by guests.
Automate statistics reports, police reports, or tourist tax calculation in order to be legally compliant.
Send guests a virtual key from your third-party smart lock system, if you use one.
And, if your property is located in certain regions:
Collect guest reports and send them to local authorities in compliance with local law.
Collect details required for tourist taxes and provide them to local authorities.
CheKin compliance with local laws
In some regions, properties are legally required to submit all registration details of guests to local authorities. CheKin can automate this task and ensure that you are legally compliant as long as your property is located in any of the following regions:
Austria, Belgium, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Dubai, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Slovenia, Thailand, United Kingdom.

Don’t worry, you can still use CheKin and the rest of its features.
Contact CheKin support if you still need to comply with legal aspects of guest registration.
In the regions specified above, CheKin will help you comply with:
Police reports: sending guest registration details to local law enforcement authorities.
Statistics reports: providing a monthly statistics report to the government.
Tourist tax: informing local authorities about the number of guests who stayed at the property, the number of nights stayed, and of any tax-exempt guests.

How it works
Guest makes a reservation or reservation is manually added in Little Hotelier
Guest and reservation details will be automatically synced to the Chekin app
Chekin sends the guest an online registration link
After guest registration, Chekin handles any required reporting
When connected to Chekin, it will not show connected in your platform like standard OTA channels - for connection queries, contact Chekin directly.
Connect to CheKin
Go to the Little Hotelier app store.
Search for the CheKin app and click on it.
Complete and submit the form to establish a connection between CheKin and Little Hotelier.
CheKin will contact you as soon as possible to create a CheKin account (if you don’t have one already), and then to connect Little Hotelier to their extranet.
You can then start configuring your CheKin platform and customising the fields of the registration forms you send to your guests.
To check if your connection to the Chekin app is active or for questions about setup, contact Chekin support directly.
Disconnect CheKin
If you wish to disconnect or turn off CheKin, you will need to close or suspend your account with the app, as per your contract. The app will then inform our team, who will deactivate the connection on our end.
