Resolving errors when submitting invoices to the AEAT

Updated this week

If you encounter issues when submitting invoices to the AEAT, it usually means a key piece of information is missing or formatted incorrectly. When you click Submit to AEAT, Little Hotelier verifies that all required property and guest details are entered correctly.

How to submit an invoice

Before troubleshooting, here are steps to follow:

  1. Register for VeriFactu. Once registered, you can create and submit invoices to the AEAT.

  2. Open the reservation.

  3. Click on the Invoices tab.

  4. Click Generate invoice.

  5. Click Submit to AEAT

Troubleshooting missing details

If details are missing or formatted incorrectly, you'll see the following error message and will need to check your VeriFactu and guest details.

Missing VeriFactu details

  • If you see an error related to missing details, check that you have registered for VeriFactu.

  • To fix this: Go to Setup > Register for VeriFactu and complete the setup process.

Missing guest details

  • Little Hotelier checks the details of the Primary contact on the reservation. If the guest is from Spain, the following fields are required:

    • Address

    • Postcode

    • Legal name - cannot exceed 120 characters

    • Número de Identificación Fiscal (NIF) - 9 digits

  • To fix this: Open the reservation and ensure the Primary contact's details page has all the required fields filled out correctly.
