About Booking.com Virtual Credit Cards (VCCs)
Booking.com creates a virtual credit card (VCC) — a unique, randomly generated number that functions as a digital version of an existing credit card — for their bookings so you do not have to spend time pre-authorising and validating credit cards yourself. When you receive Booking.com reservations, the reservation details will specify if the payment card used for the reservation is a VCC.
💡 Refer to Booking.com's policy for processing VCC payments.

Booking.com Pricing Models
Booking.com offers two pricing models:
Standard pricing (Per day pricing; PDP)
Occupancy-based pricing (OBP)
💡Important: Your pricing model in Booking.com must match your Little Hotelier setting. Little Hotelier does not support Occupancy-based pricing (OBP).
To change pricing models: Contact our support team. Please allow up to 3 business days for the change to be processed. Wait until the model has changed to complete mapping. If the pricing model is changed, you will need to re-map your rates.
Standard Pricing Model (Per day pricing; PDP)
With standard pricing, each room has a fixed daily price regardless of the number of guests staying in it. The reservation total depends on the number of days booked — not the number of guests.
Example: If a guest books a room with maximum occupancy of three people at AUD 100 per night, the price stays the same whether one, two, or three guests stay in the room.
Single Guest Discount (with standard Pricing)
Important: Before enabling the Single Guest Discount, you need to enable the single-use rate on Booking.com's extranet first for the specific room type and rate plan.
You can set a Single guest discount for one-person reservations when mapping. The value is filled automatically by default from the room rate's Single guest discount setting. To override this setting:
Click on the lock icon
On the drop-down menu, choose:
Amount — enter a fixed amount as a discount of the daily price
Percentage — enter a percentage value as a discount of the daily price
Click Save
💡 To modify default settings: You can change their values directly via the room rate.
