Find your Channel Property code (Property ID, Hotel ID)

How to find and update the property code/ID assigned to you by an a channel.

What is a Channel Property code?

A Channel Property code is a unique code that an online travel agent (OTA) or distribution channel assigns to your property. It identifies your property within that channel's own system, and you need it to connect the channel to Little Hotelier.

Depending on the channel, this code may be labelled differently:

  • Property ID

  • Hotel ID

  • Channel ID

  • Account Number

This is different from your Little Hotelier Platform ID. Your Little Hotelier Platform ID identifies your property inside Little Hotelier. Your Channel Property code identifies your property inside the OTA or channel's system.

Where do I get my Channel Property code?

Your Channel Property code is assigned directly by the channel, not by Little Hotelier. Each connected OTA or channel has its own unique code for your property.

To find your Channel Property code:

  1. Log in to that channel's extranet, or

  2. Contact that channel's support team, or

  3. Contact your market manager for that channel.

When do I need my Channel Property code?

You'll be asked for your Channel Property code when connecting a new channel for the first time.

I need to update my Channel Property code

The Property code field in Channel settings is read-only, so you can't change it directly. To update your Property code for a connected channel, you must contact our support team. They can disconnect the old code and update it to the new one.

Note:

  • Only our support team can update your Property code (Property ID, Hotel ID) for a channel connection

  • Changing your Property code will require re-mapping all your rates to the channel
