Activating Hotelbeds is quick and easy - connect Hotelbeds in your Channel Manager using just your Hotelbeds Property Code. Once connected, you can map your room rates and start distributing inventory.
Inventory updates supported by Hotelbeds
Hotelbeds supports the following inventory updates:
Rates
Availability
Minimum stay / minimum stay on arrival
Maximum stay / maximum stay on arrival
Stop sell
Hotelbeds does not support:
CTA (closed to arrival)
CTD (closed to departure)
Note: Hotelbeds has a maximum inventory update period of 750 days.
Before connecting to Hotelbeds
Before connecting to Hotelbeds:
Create a Hotelbeds account
Log into Hotelbeds extranet and set up your property
Create rooms and rates in Hotelbeds’ extranet, to match the set up in Little Hotelier. Make sure room rate configuration, including occupancy settings, match exactly in both systems
Take note of your Property code (Hotel ID) that Hotelbeds has assigned to your property. Find your Property code in your Hotelbeds extranet
Enable connection in your Hotelbeds extranet
Connect Little Hotelier in your Hotelbeds extranet:
Log into your Hotelbeds extranet.
Take note of your Hotelbeds Property code.
Go to the Channel Manager tab.
Search for and select SiteMinder for Booking Management and Inventory Management then click Save Changes.
Ensure that SiteMinder is selected as your Channel Manager.
Connect Hotelbeds in your Channel Manager
To connect Hotelbeds in your Channel Manager:
Go to My Apps > Channel Manager > Channels.
Click Connect New Channel and select Hotelbeds.
Follow the steps to connect.
Log into your Hotelbeds extranet and make sure “SiteMinder” is connected.
Click Next.
Enter your Hotelbeds Property code
Enter your Reservation e-mail address to receive Hotelbeds e-mail notifications. For multiple emails, separate them with a semicolon (;). Example: reservations@hotel.com;manager@hotel.com
Click Next.
Review the details then click Connect.
The channel will be automatically connected.
Next, map your room rates to Hotelbeds.
Update Hotelbeds channel settings
Once Hotelbeds is connected, you can update the channel settings:
Go to My Apps > Channel Manager > Channels.
Click on Hotelbeds.
Go to the Channel settings tab.
Update the settings.
Click Save.
Hotelbeds channel settings:
Rate multiplier: Set to automatically adjust (increase or decrease) Hotelbeds prices
Reservation e-mail address: Reservation e-mail notifications will be sent to this address. Note: If you only have HSI (inventory updates) enabled for Hotelbeds, then you will receive e-mails directly from Hotelbeds instead

Enable connection to Hotelbeds
Once you have mapped all required room rates and checked that availability, rates, and restrictions are correct, enable the channel to start sending inventory updates.
To enable Hotelbeds:
Go to My Apps > Channel Manager > Channels.
Click on Hotelbeds.
Go to the Channel settings tab.
Change the status to “Enabled” to “enable the connection to Hotelbeds.
