Benefits of connecting Despegar
Despegar (also known as Decolar in Brazil) is an Argentinian channel with a database of approximately 150,000 hotels, the largest available in the South American market.
Because of Despegar’s popularity in the region, the channel drives a significant volume of South American guests, which are one of the world's fastest growing outbound tourism groups.
Despegar offers specialised services in three languages: Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Restrictions
Minimum stay — also called ‘minimum stay on arrival’, this restriction only applies to the check-in day. For example, if you set this restriction to ‘minimum 3 night stay’ for 02 June and a guest wants to book a two-night stay starting on 01 June, they will still be able to make the reservation.
Maximum stay — also called ‘maximum stay on arrival’, this restriction only applies to the check-in day.
Stop sell.
CTA (Closed to arrival).
CTD (Closed to departure).
💡 Channels that accept stop sells can also accept Little Hotelier’s release period.
Inventory updates
The Availability value sent to Despegar will not be the same value as shown on the Inventory grid.
The Availability value sent to Despegar is the remaining available inventory (left-to-sell), which is calculated using the flexible allotment (value from the Inventory grid), plus the base allotment, minus booked values (settings in your Despegar extranet).
For assistance with the base allotment and booked value settings, please contact Despegar Support.
💡 Note:
The remaining available inventory (left-to-sell) is the Availability value sent to Despegar.
Flexible allotment is the value from the Inventory grid.
The base allotment and booked value are settings in your Despegar extranet.
➕ For example:
Your ‘Double standard’ has availability of 5 for tonight in the Inventory grid (the flexible allotment).
The base allotment is 4.
The booked value is 2.
As Despegar calculates the remaining available inventory (left-to-sell) value by the flexible allotment (5), plus the base allotment (4), minus the booked value (2), then the Availability value sent to Despegar is 7.
