Before mapping to Despegar
Despegar contracts
Each room rate on Despegar is considered a contract, with a contract start and end date. Little Hotelier will only update rates, availability and restrictions between these contract dates.
You will need to ensure you have the correct contract end dates, or extend your contract end dates on Despegar, before mapping your room rates on Little Hotlier.

Despegar contracted rates
Little Hotelier does not support connecting to properties where contracted rates (rates that are managed or derived from the channel) have been enabled.
You will need to request the removal of these contracted rates before connecting Despegar on Little Hotelier.

Currency conversion
If you do not want to send your Base currency to Despegar, you can configure an alternate currency to be converted and sent to Despegar.
In Property Settings > General, under Currency Conversion , click Enable.
In Despegar’s Channel settings , configure the setting Currency Conversion to convert your base currency into a different currency to be sent to Despegar.
Map to Despegar
To map Despegar, follow the steps in Channel Manager - Map a rate plan to a channel from Little Hotelier.
Here are some of the settings you will be asked to configure while mapping your rates to Despegar:
Extra adult rate — the amount charged (in the property’s primary currency) for each extra guest not included in the Included occupancy.
Extra child rate — the amount charged (in the property’s primary currency) for each extra guest not included in the Included occupancy.
Extra infant amount — the amount charged (in the property’s primary currency) for each extra guest not included in the Included occupancy.
Single guest discount — the discount applied when the room rate is booked for only one guest. When configuring this, choose between either an amount (in other words, a fixed discount in the property’s primary currency) or a percentage (that is, a discount based on a percentage of the price, depending on the stay date) and enter the necessary value. If you do not want to apply a discount, however, set the discount type to None.
