Inventory updates supported by Agoda
Agoda supports the following inventory updates:
Rates shown on the Inventory page
Extra bed rate
Availability
Minimum stay / minimum stay on arrival
Minimum stay through
Maximum stay / maximum stay on arrival
Stop sell
CTA (closed to arrival)
CTD (closed to departure)
Agoda has a maximum inventory update period of 372 days.
Before connecting to Agoda
Before connecting to Agoda, you will need to make sure you:
Have an account with Agoda and set up your property in Agoda's extranet.
Create rooms and rates in Agoda's extranet, and make sure they match the set up in Little Hotelier.
Connect "Siteminder RDX" in Agoda's extranet. Log in to Agoda's extranet, select 'SiteMinder RDX' as your connectivity provider, and take note of the Hotel ID that Agoda has assigned to your property. For more assistance with this step, contact Agoda Support directly.
Enable connection in your Agoda extranet
Log into your Agoda extranet.
Take note of your Property code (Hotel ID).
Go to Rates and availability > Connectivity settings.
Select the Channel manager option.
Select SiteMinder RDX from the dropdown menu.
Click Save.
Connect Agoda to Little Hotelier
Connect Agoda in your Channel Manager:
Go to My apps > Channel Manager > Channels.
Click on Connect new channel and select Agoda
Follow the steps to connect.
Enter your Property code
If currency conversion is enabled in Property settings, select the currency code from the dropdown menu.
Review the details then click Connect.
The channel will be automatically connected.
Next, map your room rates to Agoda.
Update Agoda channel settings
Once Agoda is connected, you can update the channel settings:
Go to My apps > Channel Manager > Channels.
Click on Agoda.
Go to the Channel settings tab.
Update the settings.
Click Save.
Agoda channel settings:
Rate multiplier: adjust inventory rates sent to Agoda
Currency: if currency conversion is enabled in Property settings, select the currency code from the dropdown menu.
Reservation commission percentage: enable this to add the channel's commission percentage on top of the total reservation amount.
Use reservation sell amount: select "Yes" if you want the reservation to show the sell rate (with commissions included). Select "No" if you only want to receive the net rate (without commissions included).
Use min stay through: if enabled, your Channel Manager will send Agoda the minimum stay through instead of the default minimum stay on arrival.
Property code: To update the property code for Agoda, please contact our support team.
Map to Agoda
To map your room rates to Agoda:
Go to Channel Manager > Channels > click on Agoda > Rooms & rates tab.
Click Map to Agoda on the channel manager room rate you want to map.
Configure the settings for the channel rate, such as included occupancy, maximum occupancy, extra adult rate, single guest discount, and extra bed rate (only set the extra bed rate after you have set up an extra bed for the room rate via Agoda's extranet).
To enable inventory updates for the channel rate, make sure the "Start updating channel" toggle is set to "Yes".
Click Save.
Important note: For Agoda, rate settings such as occupancy settings must match exactly between your Channel Manager mapping and Agoda's extranet. Agoda rates also have validity periods — monitor these regularly and extend rates before they expire to prevent syncing issues. After making any rate configuration changes in Agoda's extranet, re-save all your Agoda room rate mappings in your Channel Manager to ensure changes sync correctly.
Enable Agoda
Once you have mapped all required room rates and checked that availability, rates, and restrictions are correct, enable the channel to start sending inventory updates.
To enable Agoda:
Go to My apps > Channel Manager > Channels.
Click on Agoda.
Go to the Channel settings tab.
Change the status to "Enabled".
