Types of Info cards

💡To add a new Info card to your property’s Guest directory, go to Directory > Info cards.

There are five different types of Info cards available for your Guest directory:

  • Short text

  • Subpage

  • Image

  • Video

  • Link

Short text

Short text is useful for short pieces of information such as check-in and check-out times, parking, housekeeping and meeting room details. The description will appear once a guest clicks the card. You can include common text formatting, plus images and links in this type of card.

Subpage

A subpage allows you to display a lot of information on a separate page with a unique URL — a good option if you have a lot of content to display, for example: instructions on using the guestroom appliances such as television and air conditioning unit, a list of recommended local restaurants, or a list of useful phone numbers.

Image

An image info card is the best option for informative images such as a resort map, or a map showing nearby attractions. When a guest clicks the image card, the image you have uploaded will display in full and the description text will be visible at the bottom of the image.

💡 There is no description for an image info card. When a guest clicks on the image, the Name will be overlaid at the bottom of the image.

Video

A video is a good option if you have a video about your property or your history. Note that the supported providers are YouTube and Vimeo.

💡 There is no description field for a video info card — only the Name of the video will be shown.

Link

Use a link info card to send a guest to an external URL or file (such as a URL to your property website, a booking page or a PDF of your restaurant’s menu).

💡 There is no description field for a link info card.
