💡 Your Guest directory is a digital directory within Guest Engagement that contains property information for your guests. QR codes are one way guests can easily access this information from their mobile devices.
Download your QR code
To get your Guest directory QR code:
Go to Directory > QR code.
Click Download QR to save the QR code image in your preferred language.
Click Download a Ready-made printable sign if you want a pre-formatted sign.
Display your QR code
Place your QR code where guests can easily see and scan it. Some popular places to display your QR code:
On bedside tables in guest rooms using plastic display stands.
In common areas like the reception, restaurant, or pool area.
On metal signs alongside your social media QR codes.
Using multi-sided stands to display QR codes in different languages.
Set up a tablet or kiosk display
A tablet or kiosk in common areas gives guests another way to access your directory information. You can set this up on either an Android or Apple device.
For Android devices: We recommend using the Fully Kiosk Browser app. The app offers free features with additional paid options available.
For Apple devices: You can either use a kiosk app or Apple's built-in Guided Access mode. To set up Guided Access:
Go to Settings > Accessibility > General > Guided Access.
Turn Guided Access on.
Tap Passcode Settings and set a PIN to exit Guided Access mode.
Tap Display Auto-Lock and select Never.
Open your browser app and load your kiosk URL.
Triple tap the Home button to activate Guided Access. A grey rectangle will cover the top of the screen, making browser controls untappable.
Tap Start in the top right corner. Only the Home button will work for exiting Guided Access mode (triple-tap and enter PIN).
Add your directory URL
To set up your directory URL on the tablet or kiosk:
Go to Directory > Open directory.
Copy the URL (do not include any text after 'directory' (?source=app)).
Load this URL in your device's browser.
💡 After setup is complete, secure your device in its holder or stand if using one.
