What is the Little Hotelier Payments dashboard?

The Little Hotelier Payments dashboard provides property owners with an overview of all their Little Hotelier Payments transactions and bank payouts. They can keep track of their payments, refunds, and associated fees and check if payouts have been transferred to bank accounts.


How do I access the Little Hotelier Payments dashboard?

The dashboard is accessible through the My apps tab in the top right of the header of the Little Hotelier extranet. Click on the Payments tab from the My apps dropdown to open the dashboard.

How do I read the dashboard?

The dashboard is split into two views: Transactions and Payouts. Each of these has a summary and a detailed view.

Transactions

  • Summary view: the Transactions tab provides a list of all charges and refunds processed through Little Hotelier Payments and includes the date and time of when each transaction was processed, the associated Little Hotelier reservation ID, cardholder name, and currency. The Amount is the total amount that was charged to the guest.

  • ​​​​​Detailed view: if you click on an individual transaction in the Transactions summary view, you will be provided with more information about that charge or refund, including the Little Hotelier Payments fee.

Payouts

  • Summary view: the Payouts tab provides a list of all payouts deposited or in transit to your bank account. The date shows the date the payout has — or is estimated to — clear in your bank account. The Status column shows if the deposit is in transit or paid.

  • Detailed view: if you click on an individual payout in the Payout summary view, you will be provided with more information about the transactions that make up that payout. You will see a summary of the total number of charges and refunds and the associated fees. Clicking on an individual transaction will take you to the detailed view of that transaction.

Why are some of my reservation numbers or cardholder names missing?

The Little Hotelier Payments dashboard was launched in mid-January 2019. Some historic card details or transactions created before this date may not be populated in the dashboard, but information for all reservations will be populated moving forward.


What transactions are shown in the dashboard?

Only transactions (charges and refunds) that have been processed using Little Hotelier Payments will show in the dashboard. Recorded transactions for payments that occurred outside of Little Hotelier (e.g., with cash, EFTPOS machine) will not show in the dashboard. Transactions start from mid-January 2019.


I have multiple properties on Little Hotelier Payments. Do I have a dashboard for each or a rolled-up dashboard?

Each dashboard only displays transactions for a single property. If you have multiple properties, you will have to navigate to the dashboard through the Little Hotelier front desk for each respective property. The dashboard does not roll up multiple properties.


Is the dashboard available in the Little Hotelier mobile app?

No. Currently, the dashboard is available as a web page, accessible from your Little Hotelier front desk.
