Run through this checklist to assist you in getting your account ready prior to going Live.

Note: We may already have configured your account based on the information you have provided, but we highly recommend that you go through this checklist to ensure that all information is correct.

Setting up your Hotel

  • Review your hotel details like address, website, contact email, and base currency are correct.

  • Set a minimum rate so your rooms are not sold below a certain price.

  • Enable Currency Conversion to allow your Channel Rate to change as per guest’s booking location.

Setting up your Rooms and Rates

  • Review your Room types and Rate Plans to represent your physical rooms and sellable offers on the Booking Engine.

  • If you want to spend less time managing individual rooms & rates, then you should derive your rates from other Room Rates.

Managing your Daily Rates, Availability and Restrictions

  • Manage all inventory items like daily rates, availability and restrictions from the Inventory Grid.

  • Use the Bulk Update tool to update your inventory for multiple dates at once for at least six months before going live.

Connecting to Channels

  • Connect the channels you want to add to your Channel Manager.

  • If you want to send NET rates to your connected booking channels, then you should enable Rate Multiplier from the Channel Manager.

  • Review that all of your Room Rates are mapped to your connected booking Channels.

  • Set up derived Channel Rates to improve your rates management.

Managing your Account

  • You can create more users with different permissions in the Channel Manager and allow more people to use it, for example, your hotel staff, managers and receptionists.

  • Change your password should you need anytime.
