Important to know:
To manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings, click on the user icon (top right hand corner) > My account
Setting up MFA is mandatory for your account and needs to be completed within 30 days of your first login
Only one authentication method can be used at a time. This can be reset at any time.
We recommend using the Little Hotelier mobile app for MFA. It’s the easiest and most secure option.
Overview
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an added layer of security, requiring users to provide a second authentication step to access online accounts. The first step is to enter account login information (email address and password). The second step involves providing a unique code (one-time password), sent to a phone or tablet via text, call or an authentication app. MFA is important as the extra layer of security protects sensitive guest and property data by preventing unauthorised access.
How to receive your unique code
You can receive your unique code through one of these methods:
Little Hotelier mobile app (recommended): this is the preferred method
Authenticator app: use a third party app like Authy, Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator
Phone call (mobile or landline): if you don’t have a smartphone or prefer not to use an app, receive a code through a phone call
SMS: receive the code via a text message
When will you need a code?
A unique code will be requested during login in the following situations:
Every 30 days
When using a new browser or using incognito
When using a new device
After clearing your browser’s cache or cookies
