How to create a link for a specific room type
You can create a link for a Book now button that takes guests to a specific room type only using the room type ID.
Create a room type specific URL with the room type ID:
Go to My Apps > Direct Booking > Setup > Rooms & Rates
Click on the room type you want to link
Check the URL of the page you're in. Example:
The number after room_types/ in the URL is your unique room type ID
Add room_type=YourroomID at the end of your Booking Engine URL (this can be found on Setup > Property > General)
Your URL should look like this:
Add this URL to your Book Now button. It will take guests directly to your booking engine, with your room type pre-selected.
How to create a link for a promotion code
Once you create a promotion code in Direct Booking (My Apps > Direct Booking > Setup > Promotion codes > Create), you can create a URL for your booking engine that has your promotion code already applied. Promotion codes can be linked to applicable room rates (e.g., non-refundable room rates) or specific room types.
Create a URL for a promotion code:
Go to Direct Booking > Setup > Property > General
Find your Booking Engine URL
Add ?promocode=YourPromoCodeHere at the end of your Booking Engine URL. Example:
