Important to note: These property details in Front Desk > Setup > Property & Room Settings > Property Details will apply manual reservations only.

To update property details for your booking engine, go to My apps > Direct Booking > Setup > Property > General.
For channels (OTAs), you need to set up your policies, check-in times, property information, etc, in the channel’s extranet directly.

Add property details

Update the following property details via Front Desk > Setup > Property & Room Settings > Property Details:

General

Inventory Settings	Minimum room rate.
Front Desk Options	Weekend starts, Allow Decimals.
Taxes	Tax number.
Enable GDPR consent	Ask guests if they consent to receiving marketing emails (GDPR regulation).

⚠️ Changing your property name in Property details will not change your property name on:

Standard distribution channels (OTAs) such as Expedia and Booking.com. To update your property name on those channels, log in to each channel's extranet or contact the channel's support team
The top navigation bar of your platform, or the property switcher if you have multiple properties. This name is recorded in our system and used for billing purposes. To change it there, contact our support team
E-mail notifications, such as for distribution alerts. If you are still receiving notifications under the old property name, contact our support team

Policies

Provide clear and easy to find policies for your guests. These policies will be displayed on your confirmation emails. Your policies will also be shared with channels that have content sync such as Airbnb.

Field / Feature	Description
Terms and Conditions	Outline rules and restrictions and must be accepted by the guest during the booking process.
Payment Policy	Specifies accepted payment methods and surcharges.
Cancellation Policy	Set clear cancellation terms (e.g., free cancellation, non-refundable, partially refundable or one-night penalty).
Location Instructions	Detailed location instructions such as transport, airport directions, and nearby sights.
Allowable Arrival Times	Let guests choose their arrival window. Guests will see the check-in times on their reservation form when booking. Outside those times, guests will see 'For arrivals outside the available times, please contact the property'.

Notes:

Channel Manager users: should select a continuous period (e.g., 8 AM to 11 PM). Midnight counts as a new day, choose hours within the same day.
You can also update a minimum rate in Channel Manager: go to My apps > Channel Manager > Property name> Property settings > General > Minimum rate.

Features

Showcase your property's unique offerings by selecting the relevant features. These are property-level facilities. Examples include Conference Facilities, Meeting Room, Gym, On Site Restaurant, Spa, and Wheel Chair Access. Search by keyword or select features and click Save.

If a facility is not in the features list, describe it in your property description.

Photos

Add inviting photos of common areas like the pool, gym, hallways, and stunning views, not just bedrooms. These will be shared with channels that have content sync such as Airbnb.

Add a new property photo

Upload up to 25 JPG, GIF, or PNG photos under 25 MB.

Go to Front Desk > Setup > Property & Room Settings > Property Details > Photos.
Click Choose file.
Select an image from your computer and click Open.
Then Upload to save your photo.

To reorder photos

Go to Front Desk > Setup > Property & Room Settings > Property Details > Photos.
Drag and drop to reorder. Changes are automatically saved.

Delete a property photo

Deleting is permanent.

Go to Front Desk > Setup > Property & Room Settings > Property Details > Photos.
Click on the red 'x' on the bottom right of each photo to delete.
