Set up a rate multiplier to adjust your rates for your direct booking engine.
How to set up a rate multiplier for Direct booking
To set up a rate multiplier for Direct booking:
Go to My Apps > Channel Manager.
Go to Channels > Direct Booking.
Click into the Channel Settings tab.
Click the gear icon ⚙️ next to Rate Multiplier.
Select Enabled.
Enter a value into the rate multiplier field.
Click Save.
The applied rate multiplier will automatically adjust all your rates for your booking engine.
Note: Rates in your Inventory in Little Hotelier will show your rates without the rate multiplier applied. The adjusted rate will appear when guests search and book your direct rates through your booking engine website.
⚠️ Important: Check your rates before enabling a rate multiplier. The rate multiplier applies to all room rates, including any derived rates or dynamic discounts, which may lead to unwanted stacked discounts.
Rate multiplier examples
For 20% higher rates: Enter 1.2 in the rate multiplier field
For 20% lower rates: Enter 0.8 in the rate multiplier field
