If you need to pause or stop taking direct bookings, you can apply stop sells, set your booking engine to enquiry only, or remove your direct booking rates from your booking engine completely.
⚠️ Direct Booking is not managed via Channel Manager > Channels > Channel settings. There is no channel settings page to disable the connection like other OTA channels.
Apply a stop sell to your booking engine
To apply a stop sell to your booking engine for specific dates:
Go to Front Desk > Inventory.
Click the Bulk Update button.
Choose dates under When?
Under Which days?, select the days of the week.
Select the applicable room rates under Which room rates?
Under What changes?, tick Close website.
Click Update.
Set your booking engine to enquiry only
Setting your booking engine to enquiry only replaces the Book now button with an Enquiry button. Guests can still see your availability but need to submit a form to request a booking rather than booking instantly.
To set your booking engine to enquiry only:
Go to My Apps > Direct Booking > Setup > Booking Engine Settings.
Find the Enquiry Settings section.
Tick Enquiry Only.
Add a customised message in the text field. This message displays above the enquiry form on your booking engine.
Remove room rates from your booking engine in Front Desk
Turning off the Allow Rate to be booked via your Little Hotelier booking engine? setting removes individual room rates from your booking engine.
To remove a room rate from your booking engine:
Go to Front Desk > Setup > Rooms & Rates.
Click on the room rate name.
Go to Direct Booking Engine Controls.
Untick Allow Rate to be booked via your Little Hotelier booking engine?.
Repeat these steps for each room rate.
Suspend Demand Plus
If you have Demand Plus active, you can pause or suspend Demand Plus to stop your rates from appearing on Google Hotel Ads, TripAdvisor, and Trivago.
To pause or suspend Demand Plus:
Go to My Apps > Direct Booking > Setup > Integrations.
In the Demand Plus tab, click Pause Demand Plus.
Select how long you want to pause for and enter a reason.
Click Pause.
