Search and view a reservation

You can search for any reservation, cancellation or modification that thechannel manager has received.

To search for a reservation in Channel Manager:

  1. Click Reservations.

  2. Enter your search criteria and filter your results:

    • Search Criteria:

    • Reservation ID - The reservation identification number provided to the guest

    • Guest surname - The surname the guest entered when booking. When searching by guest surname only, a date range must be entered.

    • Show dates by - Enter a date range and select if you want to search by the check-in date or the date the reservation was made

    • Filter results by:

    • Channels - Select the booking channels to include in your search results

    • Booking status - Filter by BOOKED , MODIFIED or CANCELLED reservations

    • PMS status - If you have an integrated PMS you can filter reservations by DELIVERED , FAILED or PENDING

  3. Click Search.

Matching reservations will be displayed in the search results. Click the Reservation ID to view more information about a reservation. Click to export a .CSV file to be opened in spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, etc.

Note:

  • You can only search for reservations that were either created or checked out within the last 548 days. Older reservations cannot be accessed.

  • Some channels' reservations are not processed by the channel manager and won't appear in the reservation search results.

  • Cancelled reservations do not automatically update room type/rate availability. You will need to update the availability if you wish to make the cancelled room available.

  • Guest Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is masked 180 days after the reservation check out date

Identifying the booking source from Reservation ID

The Reservation ID number tells you where the booking came from:

  • LH: Manual booking created in Little Hotelier

  • BBN or BB: bookings made via your website's booking engine (Direct Booking)

  • Channel code: Each channel (OTA) has its own unique code (e.g., BDC for Booking.com)
