This article covers everything you need to know about connecting and disconnecting Hotelbeds to Little Hotelier.
Benefits of connecting Hotelbeds
HotelBeds is a global business-to-business company and prominent bedbank (a wholesaler that purchases rooms in bulk from accommodation providers and sells them to small online travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, and others).
They offer numerous additional services like transfers, activities, tickets, and car rentals to help properties up-sell and cross-sell products.
Updates supported by Hotelbeds
Little Hotelier sends inventory updates to Hotelbeds that include the following data:
Rates and occupancy
Rates shown on the Inventory page
Availability
Restrictions
Minimum stay — also called ‘minimum stay on arrival’, this restriction only applies to the check-in day. For example, if you set this restriction to ‘3 night minimum stay’ for 2 June, and a guest wants to book a two-night reservation starting on 1 June, they will still be able to make the reservation.
Maximum stay — also called ‘maximum stay on arrival’, this restriction only applies to the check-in day.
Stop sell
Note:
Channels that accept stop sells can also accept your platform’s release period.
Hotelbeds does not support closed to arrival (CTA) and closed to departure (CTD).
Hotelbeds has a maximum inventory update period of 750 days.
Connect Hotelbeds
💡To connect Hotelbeds to Little Hotelier, you need a Hotelbeds account — if you do not have one, go to Hotelbeds’ website, create an account, and set up your property before proceeding.
Step 1: get your Hotelbeds hotel code
Log in to Hotelbeds’ extranet and take note of the Hotel code (also called “hotel ID”) that Hotelbeds has assigned to your property.

Step 2: add Hotelbeds to Little Hotelier
Follow the instructions in the section titled ‘Connect a channel’ in Connect, edit, or disconnect a channel from your Little Hotelier's channel manager. Make sure to add the channel ‘Hotelbeds’.
Step 3: follow the steps in the Channel Connection Wizard
Enter your Hotelbeds’ Hotel code (noted during step 1).
Enter a Rate Multiplier, if applicable.
Review the connection and click on Finish.
Once connected, please wait 24 hours for our support team to confirm the connection with Hotelbeds.
Step 4: ensure that you have rooms and rates created in Hotelbeds' extranet
While our support team confirms the connection with Hotelbeds, ensure that you have rooms and rates created in Hotelbeds’ extranet with configurations matching those in Little Hotelier. Also make sure you have one room rate in Little Hotelier for each Hotelbeds room rate you want to map.
Step 5: set up your Hotelbeds channel settings
Once our support team has activated Hotelbeds’ connection, go to the Channels tab.
Click on Hotelbeds > Configure.
In the Channel settings tab, review or modify settings.
When ready, click on Save.

Reservation e-mails
When a reservation is created, modified, or cancelled through Hotelbeds (and we have received those updates into Little Hotelier), our system will send you the corresponding notification e-mails instead of Hotelbeds sending them to you.
💡Note:
The reservation e-mails are sent to the e-mail address set under your Hotelbed’s Channel settings. If you wish to modify the reservation e-mail address, please visit Connect, edit, or disconnect a channel from your Little Hotelier's channel manager.
There is an exception for properties that only have HSI (inventory updates) enabled for Hotelbeds (learn more HSI updates in our Map to Hotelbeds article). In this case, properties will receive e-mails from Hotelbeds with the reservation details attached as a PDF.
Step 6: map your rates to Hotelbeds
You can now map your room rates to Hotelbeds.

Step 7: check your inventory and enable Hotelbeds
Once you have completed mapping, follow these steps:
Check that the data in your inventory is correct.
Follow the steps in the section titled ‘Edit your channel settings’ in Connect, edit, or disconnect a channel from your Little Hotelier's channel manager to enable Hotelbeds.
