Room closures help you manage room availability for reasons such as renovations, maintenance or reservation placeholders.
Manage room closures through your Little Hotelier mobile app, including applying new closures, opening closed rooms and modifying existing closures.
Note: Bulk room closures — closing multiple rooms or entire room types at once — are not currently available in the mobile app. To create bulk room closures, use the desktop version of the Little Hotelier Calendar.
Apply a room closure in the mobile app
Open the app and navigate to either Closed rooms or Calendar.
Tap the Add button. In Calendar, select Room closure from the panel.
Tap the room you want to close.
Select the start and end dates, then tap Next.
Review the details, edit the dates if needed, and add a reason for the closure if applicable (e.g. "Room being painted").
Tap Save. The closed rooms will no longer be bookable through your direct booking engine or connected channels.
Shortcut: In Calendar, tap and hold on an empty room, adjust the length of stay, then tap Close room and skip to step 5.
Note: Close website and Close channels are not available in the mobile app. To use these restrictions, go to the Inventory tab in the desktop version of Little Hotelier.
Open a room closure through your Little Hotelier app
In the Little Hotelier app, in Closed rooms or Calendar, find the room closure and tap on it.
Tap Reopen room. The room will become bookable again through your booking engine and connected channels immediately.
Modify a room closure through your Little Hotelier app
In the Little Hotelier app, in Closed rooms or Calendar, find the room closure you want to modify and tap on it.
Make the necessary changes to the dates or reason.
Tap Save.
