Overview

Provide an easy way for guests to opt-in or out of receiving promotional emails in the booking process while adhering to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).

Enable GDPR consent

  1. Go to My apps > Direct Booking > Setup > Property > Customisation

  2. Under Check-out/Guest details, tick Enable GDPR Consent?

  3. Customise your consent message (optional). If left blank, the default text "I consent to receiving promotional emails from the property" will be displayed.

  4. Click Save

Manage guest GDPR consent data

Check which guests have consented to receiving marketing emails.

  1. Go to My apps > Direct Booking > Reports > Reservation details

  2. Apply relevant filters and select Yes for Newsletter?

  3. Click Report and Export to download as a .CSV file
