Adding a new offer

This article explains how to add a new offer, which will display in your Concierge.

Add a new offer

To add a new offer, go to Guest Engagement > Upsell > Offers, in the top right corner click the Add button. You will have the choice to create your offer from an existing template, or otherwise click the Add blank offer button.

General info

Once in the Edit offer page, enter all relevant details under the General info tab:

  • Enter the offer Name and Description into each active language. There are basic editing tools available for the description, including text formatting, numbered and bulleted lists, text colour, and ability to add links.

  • Add your offer image by clicking the Select image button to upload your image. Make sure it’s good quality and that the resolution is at least 800 pixels on the shortest side. (Note that when you add your image, the system will ask you to crop it into a square shape.)

  • Select the Type of service the offer belongs to by clicking on one of the available options (such as Room service, Restaurant, Activities, or Room upgrade).

  • Select the call to action for your offer’s Order button text, for example, select Send Enquiry, Order Now, Book Now or Get Voucher. (Different order button text may suit different offers, for instance, it may work best to use a Send enquiry button for a room upgrade if there is no certain guarantee that there will be a room available.)

  • Add the Price for your offer. (You can add a separate price for children if relevant.)

  • Add the discounted price into the Early booking discount field, if applicable. The discounted price will display next to the original price, and the percentage reduction will be automatically calculated and appear in a red banner — this display may help attract attention to your offer. (Note that if you add a discounted price as well as marking the offer as most popular, only the discount percentage badge will be displayed.)

  • Tick the Most popular label if relevant to your offer. Make sure only a few of your offers are marked as most popular, so the label does not lose its impact. Also, remember that an offer cannot have both Most popular and Discounted price: if both are selected, only the discounted price badge will display.

Once you have filled out all fields under General Info, click Save changes.

Preview your offer

Once you have created your offer, you can open your property’s Concierge to preview how your offer will display for a guest. Go to Upsell > Open concierge.
