How to add questions to your upsell offers in Guest Engagement.

Create offers in Guest Engagement to sell additional services and experiences to your guests. Adding the right questions helps you calculate prices accurately and gather essential information to fulfil guest orders.

About offer questions

Questions help gather important details from guests when they make a purchase. For example, for a restaurant booking, you'll need to know the number of guests and preferred dining time. For room service, you might need delivery time and any dietary requirements.

Add questions to an offer

To add questions to your offer:

  1. Go to Guest Engagement > Upsell > Offers.

  2. Find your offer and click the ellipsis button (three dots button).

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Click the Questions tab.

  5. Select the questions you need from these options:

  • Choose quantity — This affects total price. Usually used for products like bottles of wine.

  • Number of guests — This does not affect total price. Use when the price is fixed regardless of guest numbers.

  • Number of guests — This affects total price. Use when the price changes with guest numbers, such as for breakfast or tours.

  • Children — This affects total price. Turn on this question if you added a child price in the General tab to calculate the correct total.

  • Nights — This affects total price. Lets guests select how many days they want the service, such as breakfast during their stay.

  • Date — Lets guests choose one specific date for the service. Only dates during their stay are available.

  • Time — Lets guests select their preferred time in 15-minute increments across 24 hours.

  • Arrival time — Lets guests share their expected arrival time. Useful for welcome drinks, early check-in, and airport transfers.

  • Departure time — Lets guests share their expected departure time. Useful for airport transfers and luggage storage.

  • Select preferred time — Gives guests the choice of morning, afternoon, or evening. You can confirm exact timing later.

  • Remarks — Provides a free text field for additional information or questions, such as dietary requirements.

  • Phone number — Allows guests to provide a contact number for services like transfers and tours.

  • Vehicle registration — Allows guests to provide their vehicle number for parking allocation.

  • Flight number — Lets guests provide their flight details for transfer services.

💡 Tips when creating offer questions:

  • Do not use Time and Select preferred time together.

  • Do not use Date and Nights together.

  • Use only one Time question per offer.

  • Enable Remarks for most offers to capture special requests.

Preview your questions

To see how your questions will appear to guests:

  1. Go to Guest Engagement > Upsell > Open concierge.

  2. Find and click on your offer.

  3. Review the questions in the booking flow.
