What is a security code?
A security code is a unique single-use password, sent to your email address, to provide added security when accessing sensitive information in the booking engine extranet.
You will be prompted to enter the security code when you:
Edit the payments options on the property setup page
View card details within a reservation (for Supervisors only)
Edit card details within a reservation
Change user's email address in the user settings
Once authenticated, you will not be prompted to authenticate again for other sensitive areas unless you log out, or you are inactive for 15 minutes.
Note : Please ensure your email address in your account settings is up to date.

Trouble receiving the security code emails
If you don't receive this email in your mail client, there can be several reasons behind it, which include - but are not limited to - temporary mail server problems, or your mail program identifying your Booking Engine Security Code email as "Junk".
The steps below can assist you in trying to solve the problem. If you still cannot receive security code emails, contact support.
Manually send/receive emails in your mail program
Click " Receive now ", " Send and Receive", " Get mail", or press F5 or F9. Check your mail program for more information
Check the Junk/Spam folder
To avoid receiving security code email as junk, make sure to add your booking engine's email address to the Safe Recipients List or Safe Senders List of your mail program.
The Safe Recipient List and Safe Senders List are handy ways to help mail programs identify that a message is not junk. Visit this Outlook page for more information.
Expired security code
A security code only remains valid for 15 minutes from creation.
If the code has expired, you have to enter a new security code.
If you are still on the Security Access Required window, click on Send new security code.
If you already closed the window, follow the steps on Receiving the security code section of this article.
Note: Once you have keyed in your security code and it has been accepted, please delete the email immediately to avoid confusion in the future.
