AsiaPay

AsiaPay offers three payment gateways:

  • PayDollar — available in Hong Kong, China, India, Indonesia, Macau, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam

  • PesoPay — available in the Philippines

  • SiamPay — available in Thailand

To link your AsiaPay account to Direct Booking, Enter the following details from your AsiaPay extranet:

  • Merchant ID

  • Secure Hash Code

  • Merchant API login ID — not the same as the login ID to access AsiaPay.

  • Merchant API password — not the same as the password to access AsiaPay.

To complete AsiaPay integration, please contact AsiaPay Support to update your merchant account's data feed URL to:https://quokka-apac.siteminder.systems/payments-api/api/datafeed/asia-pay

Payment methods

By integrating AsiaPay, your booking engine will accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards

  • ewallets: AliPay, WeChat Pay, and LinePay

  • Over-the-counter payments with SiamPay and PesoPay (available for specific regions only)

Over-the-counter (OTC) transactions

Guests can now make a reservation through your booking engine and pay in person within 24 hours at locations like 7/11 or a Mini Mart. Here's what you need to know:

  • Enable OTC in AsiaPay: To offer this option at checkout, simply activate it in your AsiaPay extranet.

  • During the 24-hour window, reservations will show as Pending and won't reduce your inventory. This helps avoid overbooking, especially for rooms with limited availability. Once payment is received, the booking automatically becomes Active and inventory is adjusted.

  • Monitor pending reservations: Keep an eye on pending OTC bookings and consider implementing a confirmation notification system for guests.

  • Inform guests about the 24-hour payment window and encourage them to complete payment promptly.

PayPal gives guests the choice to pay with PayPal, PayPal Credit, credit cards, debit cards, and other local payment options.
