Updated over 10 months ago

Overview

Configure your regional settings to ensure a smooth experience for you and your guests.

  • Currency: aligns your Front Desk and booking engine, avoids confusion with guests

  • Time zone: so reports, statistics, allowable arrival times and release periods for your property are aligned correctly

  • Front Desk language: select your default language

Steps

To update settings, go to Setup > Language & Local Settings > Regional Settings

Currency

  • This should be set before creating room types, rates, and pricing

  • The currency in Little Hotelier should match your connected channels to avoid discrepancies

  • Changing the currency won't automatically update prices in your inventory. You'll need to do that manually.

Time zone

  • Choose the time zone where your property is located

  • This setting only affects your Front Desk and booking engine, it won’t be synced with your connected channels

Front Desk language

  • Choose a default language for your staff, your Front Desk interface will switch to the chosen language.

  • Emails sent from the Front Desk will be in the default language you have selected, including invoices.
