Customise guest email templates

Overview

Give your guest communications a personal touch by customising email templates in Direct Booking. Email templates help reflect your property’s unique branding and style and are an important part of the guest experience. Email templates available:

  • Booking Confirmation: this email confirms the reservation and provides essential booking details

  • Booking Modification: informs guests about any changes made to their reservation

  • Booking Cancellation: confirms the cancellation and any applicable fees

  • Pre Arrival Message (Optional): a friendly reminder sent before arrival, often with helpful information.

  • Post Departure Message (Optional): A thank-you email sent after checkout, encouraging future stays.


Getting started

  1. Go to My apps > Direct Booking > Property > Emails

  2. Choose your template

  3. Click Edit

  4. Personalise

    1. Subject, Header & Footer Text

    2. Header & Footer Images

    3. Code editing (advanced): edit the formatting and content (HTML/Liquid experience required)

  5. Check your work:

    1. Preview Template: See how your email looks

    2. Send Test Email: Review it in your inbox

  6. Publish and click Save


Customisable fields

  • Pre Arrival & Post Departure only

  • Enabled

  • Days before check-in

  • Days after check-out

  • Edit the Google Maps URL in your email templates, go to Setup > Property > General > edit the Google Map URL field > Save

  • Image specs: JPG, GIF, or PNG, max 600x210 pixels
